Naive attempt 1. Use more Navy and Red from the branding. Also give all those diagonals a nice angle like the logo.

No more “Home” and “Career” tab on top bar. This brought new issues, like accessing the personal stats is harder. Players can click the banner (player’s card), or click the avatar square on the social column. Can even merge with “Collection” tab...

It can be a bit hard to quickly check which teammate has locked into which agent... Also the distance between clicking to select agent and clicking to lock in is quite longer.

Naive attempt 3. Rearranged the massive info section on the right side, for easier reading and comparing between different guns.

I still think showing all 4 abilities is better; players can read the information of the final skill even though they can not purchase it like the other 3.

Over the past 3 days I had a little fun with this experiment - trying to improve VALORANT's UI and UX.
In order to make this selfish “redesign” as objective as possible, I used references from many other shooter games that I've played. Quite sure if the team behind VALORANT see this, they will instantly laugh at me and be like “Yea we already tried that, didn’t work so well!”. But hey I still stand by my opinions, so here we go!
